What happened to the Fonts list?
Don't panic, the small list of fonts in our editor has been removed because the fonts have become outdated and the actual fonts used for your live website are handled automatically by our system.
The best and most consistent way to ensure every visitor sees the same font on all devices is to use web fonts. We use Google Fonts and Adobe who host the font of their servers. This not only gives you a vast range of fonts to use but guarantees the font you choose will always be displayed on all devices, especially mobile phones.
For example, this text you are reading doesn't quite look like this in the editor, only when you publish the page does our system apply Roboto. That's not the only thing happening when you publish, we can also colour headings for you to save time. Inside the editor, the heading will still be black, but on your live site, it will be coloured red for example.
The problem with Comic Sans
We know schools love to use Comic Sans, but did you know that on most mobile devices Comic Sans is not used and looks different.
Comic Sans is not supported on all mobile devices and desktop PCs. For a device to be able to display a given font, that font needs to be installed on the device. If Comic Sans cannot be found, your browser will use a different font instead.

The example below shows what happens to this page when we changed the font to Comic Sans. Inside the editor, the text looks like Comic Sans and when we view it on a desktop PC it still looks ok, but when viewed on an iPhone X the font is replaced with Arial.
There is an alternative to Comic Sans
Comic Neue (see below) is a modern alternative web font that can be used on your site instead of Comic Sans and it works fine on all devices. How this works is we set Comic Neue as the default font for your body text and headings if you want to go all out on Comic Neue. So you no longer have to set fonts in the editor because your font style is automatically applied by our system.

Comic Sans is used because my PC has that font installed.
Comic Sans on mobile
Comic Sans is replaced by Arial
Comic Neue on mobile
Comic Neue stays the same on all devices.
